  • Screws buried under bark can experience fatigue cracking. Fatigue
    cracking is especially harmful if you have single system such as

    chrome carbide overlay on barrels which check cracks

TRICON SOLUTION:

  • Use single layer titanium carbide overlay on the barrels between the
    flights. Since titanium carbide does not check crack like Super-C,

    barrels don’t experience fatigue cracking

  • Two layer of tungsten carbide overlay is special matrix on flights
