PRIME-ARC SUPER-C™ WIRES AND ELECTRODES

SUPERIOR WEAR RESISTANCE

Prime-Arc Super-C HCW (hard-facing, check-cracking wire) and HCE (hard-facing, check-cracking electrode) welding consumables are designed with a chromium carbide overlay material that is intended for extreme abrasion and moderate impact applications. Our Super-C consumables include a high-chromium carbide, hard-facing stick electrode and the highest alloy open arc chromium carbide wire in the industry. The proprietary chemistry of Super-C products, achieved through careful metallurgical and process controls, offer the highest wear-life of its class.

WHY CHOOSE PRIME-ARC SUPER-C™

With maximum carbide concentration and optimum carbide alignment, Super-C is superior to any wear-resistant overlay available on the market

Resists extreme abrasion and moderate impact

Deposits will exhibit fine check-relief cracking/will stress-relieve crack

May be used in service temperatures up to 1000°F

Self-shielding (no gas required)

Consists of M7C3 carbides in an austenitic/martensitic matrix

APPLICATIONS

Intended for extreme-abrasion and moderate-impact applications, Super-C hard-surfacing wires and electrodes will outperform any chromium carbide overlay on the market. Applications include chutes, truck beds, cyclones, grizzles, slurry pipe, dredging components, screw conveyors, fan housings, fan blades, and other harsh wear environments. Super-C consumables are not suitable for liquid corrosive environments unless applied to corrosion-resistant base.
