Tricon’s design application team of registered professional engineers is available for on-site wear pattern inspection and analysis. We will work with our metallurgical staff to provide an optimized solution based on analysis that includes the best design and material elements to maximize the life of your equipment.
Tricon maintains a full-service metallurgical department and keeps a metallurgist and welding engineer on staff to optimize the service life of your equipment. Our capabilities include chemical and physical property analysis, failure analysis of used components, optical microscopy, ultrasonic and magnetic particle crack detection, heat treating, and alloy design/application.
From simple cut plate to complex fabrications, Tricon’s three fabrication facilities can handle almost any component or assembly. Our operations include oxy and plasma cutting tables, induction hardening, fabrication and hard-facing, roll and press forming, and a full-service CNC machine shop. Flexible fabricating bays allow us to work on products up to 80’ long and weighing up to 20 tons.
