SCRAP HANDLING EQUIPMENT

Tricon offers a variety of scrap handling equipment made from Tri-Braze abrasion- resistant steel for long life. Our scrap handling equipment includes grapples, clam shell bucket liners, and loader and dozer liners.

CON-STEEL FEEDS

Made from Tri-Braze, Tricon’s con-steel feeds have the through hardness and wear resistance needed to feed scrap metal into the melting furnace. Produced using our proprietary chemistry, Tri-Braze steel lasts longer than other steels of its kind, extending the time needed between scheduled maintenance.

CHUTES AND HOPPERS

Hoppers and chutes are subject to heavy impact from falling loads in addition to compression and abrasion in transition points and hopper exits. By analyzing the wear patterns and loads in each area, Tricon can customize a Tri-Braze and Super- C liner package to maximize the life of your hoppers.

MILL SIDE GUIDES

Tricon mill side guides are made with the strength and abrasion resistance of Tri- Braze. Our steel mill side guides will keep steel product in place to keep you running.

SLAG BOXES

Our slag / pallet boxes are lined with Tri-Braze abrasion-resistant steel. Tricon slag boxes are long lasting while delivering abrasive slag to the slag processing area.

DRIFT PLUGS

Made from Triloy, our drift plugs are used for final pipe sizing in a seamless pipe mill. Tricon drift plugs have the strength, through hardness, and ductility needed to resist wear and get the job done.

COOLING BED COMPONENTS

Tricon cooling bed components include wear liners for the steel cooling beds. Made from Tri-Braze, our wear liners outlast the competition.

LOADER BUCKETS

Loader buckets are exposed to highly abrasive materials and extreme impact forces during operation. Tricon loader buckets designed using our proprietary steels, Tri- Braze and Super-C, to withstand harsh mill conditions, provide longer service life, lower maintenance costs, and improve performance over any other materials in the marketplace. Maximize longevity and minimize weight on your loader buckets with help from our expert engineers.
