Tricon’s Elko, Nevada facility achieved a major milestone in June with a record-breaking month of shipments of fabricated products—a testament to the team’s dedication, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
“It was a busy month, but the team was in a great flow and pushed out some big projects,” said Jay Byars, Plant Manager at Elko. “We shipped two large Tri-Braze chutes to a mining customer in Arizona and four truck bed liner packages to another in Nevada. We reopened the rail spur to our shop a few years ago, and it has been instrumental in reducing shipping costs for our customers and allows us to keep enough material on the ground to quickly fulfill fab orders.”
This achievement highlights the strength of Tricon’s operational strategy and the value of investing in infrastructure that supports customer needs. The reopened rail spur has proven to be a game-changer, enabling faster turnaround times and more cost-effective logistics.
