Ultra Tech 600 can withstand the most abrasive, mission-critical applications. To create wear-resistant pipes that stand the test of time, we use a proprietary induction- heating and quenching process to alter the microstructure of the steel. The result is an ideal, tapered hardness pipe profile. The outer wall is ductile to accommodate high-pressure service and welding stresses, while the harder, inner wall resists abrasive slurries and the toughest conveyance materials.
