A Tricon customer conducted an informal impact test of 3/4″ Tri-Braze and a competitor’s 3/4″ plate.
They dropped a 7.66 ton boulder from ten feet onto each liner plate they had at their yard. The non-Tri-Braze plate cracked in several places and bent considerably.
They dropped the same 7.66 ton boulder on ¾” thick Tri-Braze from the same distance. The Tri-Braze did not have one crack or scratch, and the plate was still in perfect condition. Per the customer’s words, “The Tri-Braze didn’t flinch and was flat just like it was delivered.”
While this test was not done in controlled laboratory conditions, it was still remarkable. We encourage you to contact us to discuss a side-by-side test at your facility. We are confident our plate is the best in the industry and willing to prove it.
