TRICON DELIVERS NEW DRAGLINE BUCKET

Many customers have benefited from Tricon’s metallurgy and fabrication expertise for decades. They work in demanding industries and require equipment that maximizes time in operation, not in the maintenance shop.

A Cemex aggregate operation in Florida wanted to improve the durability of their drag line buckets. The bucket walls and floor are lined with Super-C® chrome carbide overlay plate. The combination of advanced steel metallurgy and herringbone pattern overlay make Super-C an industry leader in handling sliding abrasion wear applications. The bucket’s back wall and heel bands are Tri-Braze® – chosen for its through-hardness of 480+ BHN which provides excellent abrasion and impact resistance.
