Esser Twin Pipes founded.
1960
In 1968, 1% of US contractors used concrete pumps. By 1970, that would grow to 12%. Advances by Con Forms in pumping technology and components were important contributions.
1969
Con Forms (1969) and Tricon (1968) founded.
1972
Con Forms issued patent for the first Hevi-Duty Snap Coupling. First concrete mini-placer developed by Con Forms.
1972
In 1972, Tricon introduces Tri-Braze to the market.
1974
Con Forms recognizes customers' need for a national organization to help define best practices and safety standards. Con Forms becomes a Founding Member of American Concrete Pumping Assoc. (ACPA).
1980
ESSER develops Twin Pipe technology and enters OEM market for concrete pumps.
1984
First hydraulic shut off and diversion valves introduced by Con Forms.
1987
Super-C® clad plate and Super-X® shafting products launched at Tricon.
1989
Ultra Tech is developed under Con Forms to offer an alternative for large diameter abrasive applications.
1990
Ultra Tech Piping Solutions drives Continuous Growth through expansion into industrial applications including Mining and Pulp & Paper.
1993
Con Forms invests in advanced technology with installation of Induction Bender + Heat Treating machine at Grafton, WI facility.
1994
Ultra III and Twin Wall boom kits offered by Con Forms in North America.
1995
Ultra Tech 600 abrasion-resistant pipe introduced. ESSER expands globally into USA market.
1997
Con Forms introduces Chrome Carbide Lined Elbows for Concrete Pump Trucks.
1998
Con Forms becomes a founding member of the Concrete Pump Manufacturers Assoc. (CPMA).
2002
Con Forms issued patent for Connecting Coupling Units with a hardened inner wall to efficiently deliver abrasive concrete.
2004
Con Forms issued patent for the first Concrete Hose Shut-Off Valve. Developed to improve job site safety for our customers and their crews.
2005
Con Forms issued patent for the first Tapered Boom Hose allowing smoother flow and safer operation.
2008
Con Forms selected as the official concrete pumping pipe supplier for new World Trade Center construction, reflecting our status as the producer of the safest and most durable piping solutions in the industry.
2013
ESSER acquired by Construction Forms USA​ to drive international growth and expand customer options in North America.
2015
Madison Industries purchases Tricon from Kennametal Inc.
2017
First Spider concrete placers brought to North American market by Con Forms.
2018
Con Forms' customers voice need for new valve technology. Con Forms Engineering develops and patents Flexible Concrete Hose Shut Off Valve - the AirCuff.
2020
H.I.G. Capital invests in the CFI portfolio of companies including Con Forms, Ultra Tech Pipe and Esser Twin Pipes.
