PRIME-ARC 3™ JOINING WIRES AND ELECTRODES

JOIN AND REPAIR HIGH-STRENGTH METALS

Prime-Arc 3 JW (joining wire) and Prime-Arc 3 JE (joining electrode) are the recommended electrode and wire for joining Tri-Braze impact- and abrasion-resistant alloy steel to itself, other high-strength quench and tempered steels, and mild structural steel. It has both the strength and ductility to handle the demands of joining high-strength metals.

WHY CHOOSE PRIME-ARC 3

Welder-friendly with a flux system that provides even burn off, clean puddles and easy slag removal

Low hydrogen rutile flux for use with high-strength steels

Provides very high impact resistance at sub-zero temperatures

80 KSI tensile strength with nickel addition to enhance toughness and crack resistance of the weld

Great out of position

Excellent bead shape and appearance

APPLICATIONS

Prime-Arc 3 was specifically designed to join or weld ultra-high-strength steels such as Tri-Braze to other high-strength steels or mild steel.
