THREADED PIPE FOR BOREHOLES

Threaded pipe is increasingly being used in vertical boreholes moving paste backfill to make mines safe. In the past, pipes were welded together vertically, requiring a lot of man hours in fitting the pipe and suspending the pipe in potentially dangerous situations.

Tricon offers a threaded pipe option for our Ultra Tech induction hardened pipes that results in faster installation, less downtime and longer life. Ultra Tech pipe can save you thousands of dollars by dramatically reducing install time with seamless transitions points and extending the life of your pipe.

ABRASION RESISTANT PIPE

Abrasion-resistant pipes are built to withstand the toughest, most challenging materials. Unlike mild steel pipe, abrasion-resistant pipes are specifically engineered to last longer, require less downtime, and increase productivity.

Ultra Tech 600 pipe lasts up to 6 times the life of mild steel pipe and provides significant savings on the total life-cycle cost. With a 600 BHN inner surface tapering to 250 BHN on the outer wall, this is the ideal pipe profile for outstanding inner abrasion resistance and outer tensile strength.

ABRASION RESISTANT ELBOWS

Our proprietary fabrication process uses induction heating to both harden and bend pipe at the same time. Induction bending results in a stronger, more consistent pipe wall that reduces wall thinning, ovality and distortion caused by other methods of pipe bending.

HIGH PRESSURE COUPLINGS & CONNECTIONS

Ultra Tech offers a range of couplings designed to complement the durability of our abrasion-resistant pipelines. Our Ultra Duty, high-pressure forged couplings are lighter, safer, and more affordable than comparably-rated cast options in the marketplace.

DIVERSION VALVES

The Ultra Tech Diversion Valve is designed to hold up to the most demanding mining applications. The push-pull operation is powered by two hydraulic cylinders allowing for a paste working pressure up to 2200 PSI.

 

The Ultra Tech Diversion Valve is an excellent fit for paste systems, tailings lines, or where multi-line outlet with single inlet is the operating mode. Ultra Tech Diversion Valve applications include pneumatic and hydraulic piping systems for extremely abrasive materials such as bottom ash, fly ash, and pulverized coal.

SHOTCRETE HOSES & NOZZLES

Ultra Tech Pipe was developed to handle the rigors of concrete pumping by one of our sister companies in the CFI portfolio: Con Forms. Our induction-hardened pipe, abrasion-resistant hose offerings, high-pressure couplings and shotcrete accessories are all ACPA and ASA certified. JOINING, HARDFACING, & BUILD-UP WIRES

Extending service life and reducing costly downtime is important in aggregate. As the highest quality in the industry, Tricon Prime Arc welding consumables do both. Choose from joining electrodes and wires made for field welding, hardfacing wire consumables for handling demanding applications, or build-up consumables for repairing and resurfacing expensive, worn parts.
