ABRASION & CORROSION RESISTANT, LOW CARBON STAINLESS STEEL

Tri-Corr 300 is designed to excel in mixed mode (abrasion, corrosion and/or high-temperature) applications. It is substantially more corrosion resistant than painted, weathering or galvanizing steels and more wear resistant than 300 series stainless steels. Fly ash systems are well-suited to Tri-Corr 300 due to the combination of abrasive and corrosive materials in high-temp environments.

Tri-Corr maintains an extremely low coefficient of friction, making it ideal for hopper and chute installations where material sticking and bridging occurs, such as lime and coke/coal conveyance systems. Produced at 300-340 BHN, Tri-Corr 300 is easily formable and weldable with standard equipment. Charpy impact properties remain in the ductile range at -50°F and over half of the yield strength is maintained at 1000°F.
